For a compute operator, the supply network determines what capacity it can offer customers, at what price and with what reliability. Qovane Group does not stake its capacity on a single facility. With New York headquarters as the scheduling hub, we have built a distributed supply network with data center partners in North Africa (Libya), Xinjiang in China, and the United States.
We choose partners against a set of long-term criteria.
Test one: power is where compute begins
GPU clusters are power-intensive, and the cost and stability of electricity directly determine both the price and the availability of compute. We prioritise regions with ample, competitively priced and reliable power. That is also the underlying reason emerging regions are becoming new places to build compute capacity.
Test two: location and connectivity
Compute is delivered remotely, so connectivity matters just as much. We assess each facility's access to subsea cables and backbone networks, network quality to major customer regions, and the trajectory of local infrastructure. Combining capacity across locations also lets us match each customer with resources that suit them.
Test three: screening comes before partnership
Every data center partner must pass a rigorous review before a partnership takes effect:
- Restricted-party screening covering the partner and its major shareholders.
- Ownership analysis to identify who ultimately controls the business.
- Forced-labour risk review and related representations.
- Hardware provenance checks confirming equipment was obtained through legitimate channels.
If the review is not passed, the partnership does not go ahead. We would rather grow more slowly than accept capacity of uncertain origin.
Test four: long-term contracts, reliable delivery
We value long-term partnerships over one-off transactions. Long-term supply agreements with core partners secure stable capacity and pricing, which lets us make firmer commitments to customers. Our partner in North Africa (Libya) is a long-term signed supply partner, and our partners in Xinjiang and the United States are signed supply partners as well.
Diversified, and still growing
Spreading capacity across several regions and partners is fundamentally risk management. No power fluctuation, policy change or maintenance window in a single region can bring the whole network down. A distributed footprint makes Qovane's supply more resilient and our customers' businesses more secure.
Qovane Group's supply network continues to expand. We welcome data centers with power and rack resources that share our compliance-first principles to join us in delivering reliable compute to businesses around the world.
